Tubes are specified by their wall construction, and the three options are not interchangeable. PE is a single plastic layer — cheapest, fully squeezable, and the right answer for cleansers and gels where barrier protection is not critical. ABL (aluminium barrier laminate) puts a thin aluminium layer inside the wall, which blocks light and oxygen almost completely; it is what you use for actives that degrade, and it holds a crease so the tube looks used-up rather than springing back. PBL (plastic barrier laminate) uses a plastic barrier layer instead of aluminium: better protection than plain PE, glossier and more premium-looking than ABL, and it springs back rather than creasing. The decision is a three-way trade between formula protection, shelf appearance and cost. Dermapack supplies all three from 10ml to 150ml.

Tubes FAQ
- What is the minimum production order?
- Production starts from 10,000 pcs per SKU. Specialty minimums depend on specifications.
- Can a project start with samples?
- Yes. Procurement and R&D teams can request specification and sample review before the final production quantity is set. Share the application, size and project stage. Sample quantities, production batches and monthly forecasts are reviewed separately; sample terms are confirmed in the quotation.
- What information is needed for a quotation?
- Include your company or brand, product and application, size or capacity, material, matching closure/pump, decoration, quantity per SKU/batch and target date. Product references and QC documentation requirements help the team prepare a relevant review.
- How are MOQ and delivery dates confirmed?
- After specification review, the team confirms minimums, component availability, sampling, price and schedule in the quotation. Stock, custom colour, decoration and new molds have different requirements. Repeat supply is planned around each SKU.
- Which quality documents can be requested?
- Share your vendor evaluation requirements: specifications, drawings, test results, relevant certificates or a CoA. The team confirms availability and scope for the SKU, material and supplying facility. Compatibility with your formulation and filling process should be validated with samples.
