Ordering & MOQ

What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) at Dermapack?

Our standard MOQ is 10,000 pcs per SKU for regular stock products. For custom products with new molds, MOQ varies from 20,000-50,000 pcs depending on design complexity and product size. We also offer trial order options for new brands with more flexible MOQs.

How do I place my first order?

For your first order, contact our sales team via WhatsApp (0815-9002-989), email (marketing@dermapack.net), or the website contact form. Our team will help determine suitable products, provide quotation, and send samples if needed. The initial process typically includes needs consultation, product selection, sample approval, and PO (Purchase Order).

What is the production lead time?

Lead time varies by product type: regular stock products 3-7 business days, custom color 2-4 weeks, products with new molds 6-12 weeks (including mold making). Lead time can be shorter for repeat orders. We always communicate the production timeline transparently at the start.

Can I request samples before ordering?

Yes, we provide free samples for regular stock products (maximum 5 types per request). For custom products, we provide samples with a mold sample fee that will be deducted from the first production order. Sample shipping throughout Indonesia typically takes 2-5 business days.

Is installment payment available?

Yes, for first orders we require 50% down payment with balance due before shipping. For regular customers, we offer 30-60 day payment terms after delivery, depending on volume and transaction history. Payment via bank transfer (BCA, Mandiri, BNI).

What if I want to change the design after ordering?

Design changes can be made before production begins. If production is already underway, minor changes like color or printing may still be accommodated with additional costs. Major changes requiring new molds will need additional timeline and costs communicated by our team.

Is automatic reorder service available?

Yes, for regular customers we provide automatic reorder systems (blanket orders) where you can lock in prices for certain volumes over 6-12 month periods with scheduled deliveries. This helps secure supply and get more competitive pricing.

Can I order in small quantities for market trials?

We understand the needs of new brands. For market trials, we offer trial order options with lower MOQ (starting from 5,000 pcs) for certain stock products. The per-unit price will be slightly higher than bulk orders, but this helps you test the market without large investment.

What is the process for defective product claims?

Dermapack applies strict QC standards with defect acceptance rate below 1%. If defective products are found, report within 7 days of receipt with photo/video evidence. Our QC team will investigate and provide replacement or credit per our quality guarantee policy.

Can I order complete custom packaging (bottle + cap + label)?

Yes, Dermapack provides one-stop packaging solutions where you can order bottles/jars, caps/closures, pumps/spray heads, and inner components in one order. We also partner with label and printing suppliers to provide complete packaging solutions for your brand.

Materials & Products

What plastic materials are available at Dermapack?

We provide various plastic materials for cosmetic packaging: PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) for transparent bottles, HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) for opaque bottles, PP (Polypropylene) for caps and jars, PETG (Glycol-Modified PET) for premium packaging, and Acrylic/PMMA for luxury packaging. Each material has specific advantages we consult based on your product needs.

What is the difference between PET and PETG?

PET is the standard material with high clarity and more affordable pricing. PETG is a premium PET version modified with glycol, providing higher crystal clarity, 5-10x better impact resistance, and superior chemical resistance. PETG is ideal for premium brands wanting a luxurious glass-like appearance without breakage risk.

What bottle and jar sizes are available?

We provide a complete size range: bottles from 15ml, 30ml, 50ml, 60ml, 100ml, 120ml, 150ml, 200ml, 250ml, 500ml, to 1000ml. Jars available in 5g, 10g, 15g, 30g, 50g, 100g, 150g, 200g, 250g. Custom sizes can also be made with new mold development.

Are Dermapack packaging materials food-grade?

Yes, all materials we use have food-grade certification and have passed safety testing per FDA and BPOM standards. Our materials are BPA-free (Bisphenol-A) and safe for direct contact with cosmetic, skincare, and personal care products.

What colors are available for bottles and jars?

For PET bottles: clear/transparent, amber, frost, green, blue. For HDPE bottles: white, natural, and custom color matching. For jars: clear, frost, white, and custom color. We also provide color matching services where you can specify exact colors using Pantone color codes.

Are airless pump containers available?

Yes, we provide airless pump containers in various sizes (15ml, 30ml, 50ml). Airless pumps are ideal for skincare products sensitive to air exposure such as vitamin C serum, retinol, and anti-aging products. The airless system helps maintain formula stability and minimize contamination.

Can you create bottles with unique/custom shapes?

Yes, Dermapack has custom mold making capabilities for unique bottle and jar designs. The process starts from design consultation, 3D rendering, prototype, approval, and production mold making. Custom mold timeline is 6-12 weeks with mold investment depending on design complexity.

What types of caps/closures are available?

We provide various cap types: screw cap, flip-top cap, disc-top cap, press-down cap, child-resistant cap, dropper cap, spray head, pump dispenser, lotion pump, cream jar cap, and aluminum cap. All caps available in various finishes: glossy, matte, metallic, and custom color.

Are eco-friendly packaging options available?

Yes, we offer several eco-friendly options: bottles from PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) PET material, refillable packaging, mono-material packaging that is easier to recycle, and lightweight designs that reduce plastic usage. We continue developing our sustainable product line.

Which material is best for vitamin C serum?

For vitamin C serum sensitive to light and oxidation, we recommend amber PETG or amber PET bottles with dropper cap or airless pump. Amber material protects formulas from UV rays, while airless pumps prevent oxidation. For more affordable options, amber PET with dropper is also effective.

What is the quality control process at Dermapack?

We implement multi-stage quality control: raw material inspection (incoming QC), production process control (in-process QC), final inspection (final QC) with AQL sampling, and periodic random audits. Each product batch comes with a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) covering dimensions, weight, color, and other quality parameters.

Are Dermapack products safe for halal products?

Yes, Dermapack has obtained Halal certification guaranteeing all production processes, materials, and product handling comply with Islamic law. This is important for halal cosmetic brands requiring halal supply chain from upstream to downstream.

Is Dermapack packaging registered with BPOM?

Our packaging materials meet BPOM safety standards for cosmetic and personal care packaging. As a packaging manufacturer (not cosmetic manufacturer), Dermapack provides material safety certificates (MSDS) and Certificates of Compliance that brands can use for their BPOM product registration process.

How does Dermapack ensure color consistency between batches?

We use digital color matching systems with spectrophotometers to ensure color consistency between production batches. Each color batch is checked against approved reference standards with Delta E tolerance less than 1.0. Our color masterbatches are supplied by certified suppliers with consistent quality.

Are compatibility test reports available?

Yes, we can provide compatibility test reports between packaging materials and your product formula. Testing includes: stability test (3-6 months), chemical compatibility, migration test, and stress cracking test. This service is available for large volume orders and custom products.

How is production waste managed at Dermapack?

Per ISO 14001, we implement strict waste management: production plastic waste is recycled into secondary materials, hazardous waste is managed by authorized parties, and we actively reduce production waste rates. Our reject rate is below 2%, which is industry best standard.

Does Dermapack conduct factory audits for clients?

Yes, we are open to factory visits and audits from clients. Many multinational brands and pharmaceutical companies conduct regular audits at our production facilities. We also accept third-party audits per customer compliance requirements.

Custom Development

Can Dermapack create packaging designs from scratch?

Yes, our R&D and design team can help develop packaging designs from initial concept. The process includes: needs brief, trend and competitor research, concept sketches, 3D rendering, physical prototype, and design finalization. This service is available as part of the custom product development package.

How much does a new mold cost?

Mold costs vary depending on design complexity, product size, and number of cavities. General range: IDR 15-50 million for simple molds, IDR 50-150 million for complex multi-cavity molds. The mold becomes customer property and mold costs can be amortized into unit prices for large volume orders.

How long is the custom product development process?

Custom product development timeline: consultation and design (1-2 weeks), 3D rendering and approval (1-2 weeks), mold making (6-10 weeks), trial production and sample approval (1-2 weeks), mass production (2-4 weeks). Total approximately 3-4 months from brief to delivery.

Is custom printing/decoration available on packaging?

Yes, we provide various decoration options: silk screen printing (up to 6 colors), hot stamping (gold, silver, hologram), labeling, shrink sleeve, spray coating (matte, glossy, soft-touch), UV coating, and frosting. Each decoration technique provides different visual and tactile effects to enhance brand image.

Is private labeling service available?

Yes, we support private labeling where your brand uses our stock packaging products with custom branding (logo, color, printing). This is a cost-effective option for new brands that do not yet need custom molds but want packaging with their own brand identity.

Can packaging be customized for export markets?

Yes, we have experience producing packaging for export markets with different standards. We can adjust material specifications, labeling requirements, and packaging according to destination country regulations including EU, US, Japan, and ASEAN countries.

Is rapid prototyping service available?

Yes, for presentation or exhibition needs, we provide rapid prototyping services using 3D printing or CNC machining. Prototypes can be completed in 3-5 business days and provide an accurate picture of packaging shape, size, and ergonomics before mold investment.

What is the custom design approval process?

The approval process includes several stages: digital 3D rendering approval, physical prototype approval (if needed), first production sample approval (first article inspection), and sign-off before mass production. Each stage requires written customer approval to ensure the product meets expectations.

Shipping & Logistics

Where can Dermapack ship to?

We ship throughout Indonesia via land freight (Java Island) and sea/air (outside Java). For international shipments, we have experience exporting to ASEAN countries, Australia, Middle East, and Africa. We work with trusted freight forwarders to ensure timely and safe delivery.

How are products packaged for shipping?

Products are packed in inner boxes and outer cartons with bubble wrap/foam protection. For long-distance shipping, we use wooden pallets and additional wrapping. Each carton is labeled with product details, quantity, and handling instructions to facilitate receiving at customer warehouses.

Is shipping cost included in the price?

Our standard pricing is ex-factory (shipping not included). For deliveries in the Jabodetabek area with certain volumes, we can provide free delivery. For other areas, shipping costs are calculated based on volume, weight, and destination using competitive freight rates.

Is partial delivery available?

Yes, for large volume orders we provide staged delivery options according to customer production needs. Partial delivery schedules can be arranged at the start of ordering, for example 25% per week over 4 weeks. This helps with warehouse management and customer cash flow.

What happens if products are damaged during shipping?

Every shipment is insured. If damage occurs during transit, report within 24 hours of receipt with photo/video documentation. Our logistics team will promptly process claims and send replacement products. We also continuously improve our packaging standards to minimize damage risk.

Is warehousing service available?

Yes, for customers with blanket orders, we provide temporary storage at our warehouse (maximum 30 days) before staged delivery. This helps customers with limited warehouse space who want to benefit from large volume order pricing.

What is the estimated shipping time outside Java?

Estimated delivery after products are ready: Sumatra 3-5 days, Kalimantan 4-7 days, Sulawesi 5-7 days, Bali & NTB 3-4 days, Papua 7-14 days. Times may vary depending on freight conditions and weather. We also offer express shipping options for urgent needs.

Pricing & Payment

How do I get a price quotation?

Send your requirements (product type, material, size, color, quantity, finishing/decoration) to our sales team via WhatsApp, email, or website contact form. We will provide a quotation within 1-2 business days complete with price breakdown, timeline, and MOQ.

Are there discounts for large volume orders?

Yes, we apply tiered pricing based on order volume. The larger the quantity, the more competitive the unit price. Volume discounts typically start from orders of 50,000 pcs and above. For annual contracts (blanket orders), pricing can be even more competitive with guaranteed supply and stable pricing.

What currency is used for payment?

For domestic customers, pricing and payment are in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). For export customers, we accept payment in USD. Payment via bank transfer with official invoice and tax receipt.

Does the price include VAT?

Our quoted prices do not include 11% VAT. Tax invoices are issued together with invoices. For PKP (Taxable Entrepreneur) customers, VAT can be credited as input tax.

Is there an additional cost for custom colors?

Yes, custom color matching requires additional costs for special masterbatch creation, typically IDR 2-5 million per color depending on material type and color matching difficulty. This is a one-time cost applicable to all subsequent orders with the same color.

What is the pricing policy for raw material price increases?

We are committed to price transparency. If significant raw material price fluctuations occur, we will communicate price adjustments at least 30 days before implementation. For customers with blanket order contracts, prices are guaranteed during the contract period.

Is consignment available?

For strategic customers with good track records, we can discuss consignment or VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) options where stock is placed at customer warehouses and payment is made after usage. Terms and conditions apply based on individual evaluation.
